Kaneisha Lewis
Of Counsel
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Texas Wesleyan University, Fort Worth, Texas. My legal experience includes 10+ years in civil law, family law, and employment law, with an emphasis on litigation. I have worked as a runner, file clerk, receptionist, legal secretary, and paralegal. I am a NALA-certified paralegal and a Notary Public for the State of New Mexico, and I have trial experience from inside the courtroom.
I am well-versed in supporting all stages of litigation, including preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions; conducting legal research; drafting motions and correspondence; communicating with and interviewing clients; managing and organizing document production; and handling filings in both state and federal courts.
What drives me in this profession is the opportunity to assist clients facing life-altering circumstances that can profoundly impact people’s lives and to provide them with some measure of comfort and resolution. Being part of moments that restore stability or bring closure and clarity gives me a level of fulfillment I have not found anywhere else.
